Chris Dumas

Chris has a wealth of experience and utilises that experience to assist his client in an in-depth manner. He has an ability to assist clients from a wide range of industries, and with a wide range of issues.
This has enabled him to proactively assist his clients in making decisions so that all ramifications are considered, even those the client doesn’t see.
Whilst he is able to advise over a wide range of industries, two areas of speciality are the building industry and Not-For-Profits (in particular NDIS).
Chris is married to Melissa and has three beautiful children. He is a trivia buff and loves making Christmas cutouts as well as enjoying all things sport.

Mark has 35 years of experience in tax and business consulting. He loves to help clients grow their businesses and improve their financial position, by being involved in the important decisions they need to make.
Running is Mark’s passion, having recently finished his first marathon with the help of “Maccas Mob”.
Stephen Chapman

Stephen has experience in working closely with many and varied business clients. He enjoys assisting his clients to get the most from their businesses. In his spare time Stephen enjoys all things sport but in particular playing soccer and watching the v8 supercar series.
Jamie Rossington

Jamie draws on over 18 years of Accounting experience supported by a significant history of senior management within the major retail department store industry. It was when he decided to join Bentleys in 2005 however, that Jamie would hone his strengths as a CPA offering personal and specially-tailored accounting services for a diverse range of clients.
Jamie is able to apply his skills in a very practical way as he understands the logistics of running staff, inventory, supply chain and all of the daily challenges business owners and managers face.
Jamie is responsible for a wide variety of clients operating in many industries and has a strong background in understanding the needs of these industries, including Construction, Real Estate, Architecture, Retail, Wholesale, Engineering, Transport and Legal Firms.
In his spare time Jamie enjoys spending time with his family and friends and travelling.
Kim Phillips

Kim Phillips is an Associate Director and SMSF Specialist at Bentleys Newcastle.
Superannuation has always been a part of Kim’s roles over her accounting career spanning more than 3 decades.
As an area of special interest for her, Kim extended her Chartered Accountant (CA) qualifications to become an accredited CA SMSF Specialist and has been working exclusively in this area since joining Bentleys Newcastle in 2008.
During this time Kim has gained vast experience in the full SMSF life cycle from establishment to accumulation and growth to retirement phase and finally wind up.
Kim is dedicated to simplifying the complexities of SMSFs, and superannuation in general, for her clients through education and training as well as assisting in all aspects of administration and legislative compliance.
The diverse client base of Bentleys Newcastle has also meant that Kim has had exposure to many types of superannuation investments and structures from the very simple to the more complex including limited recourse borrowing arrangements and integration with unit trusts.
Working with financial planners, Kim is committed to helping Bentleys clients to achieve their retirement goals through effectively managing their SMSF investments.
Naturally empathetic and being client and goal focused has led to Kim becoming a trusted and valued advisor for the clients she services and Bentleys Newcastle as a whole.

Administration Officer
Aimee has been a part of the Bentleys Family since 2023 working as an Administration Officer.
Her roles include corresponding with the ATO, booking in jobs, client updates and preparing our monthly newsletter.
Her hobbies include spending time with her friends and family.
Anne
Accountant
Anne has been in the industry about 14 years working in the area of small to medium businesses ranging from primary production to transport industry .
Her current role is to manage a team of accountants at different levels of there studies. She also manages a portfolio of clients for some of the partners. In her spare time she breeds show border collies.
Astrid
Administration Officer
Astrid has been apart of the Bentleys Family since 2016 working as an Administration Officer.
Her roles in the office include assisting our clients with queries, invoicing, corporate secretarial work and many other fun things!
Her hobbies include Belly dance and playing around with makeup.
Brent
Accountant
Brent is an Accountant with 4 years’ experience, who usually works on personal income tax returns and with business clients.
In his free time, Brent usually watches or plays sport and spends time with family and friends.
Dareios
Accountant
Dareios joined the Bentleys Newcastle team in 2022. Dareios has many years of experience working in a variety of local businesses and primarily assists the Bentleys Team in relation to personal income tax returns and assists with our business services clients. Dareios has completed his Bachelor of Commerce.
In his spare time, he enjoys staying active, going to the gym and playing Soccer.
Jarrod
Accountant
Jarrod has 10 years of accounting experience. He predominantly works in the Business Services sector within Bentleys Newcastle but also involved in workers compensation audits and fringe benefits tax. Jarrod’s interest includes fishing, cars, motorbikes and rugby league.
Jessica
Accountant
Jess started at Bentleys Newcastle in 2023, she primarily assists with preparing tax returns for various entities in business services and assisting with audits, BAS and FBT returns.
In her spare time she likes being outdoors, gardening and to be around friends and family.

Justin has 10 years of accounting experience and splits his time between the Business Services and Audit divisions of the firm. Outside of the office he likes to spend his time fishing and working on his boat.

Leah is a CPA-qualified accountant who has been in the industry since 1999. She is part of our SMSF (Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) Division. In her spare time she is a volunteer surf life saver and loves being down at the beach with her family.

Her roles include assisting our Audit Team, internal database updates, collation of financial documents and assisting our lovely clients with queries.

Richard has 30 years in public practice. He has experience with wholesale and retail clients, cafes and restaurants, travel agents, not for profit organisations, business valuations, cash forecasting and business improvement, estate planning.
He loves a game of golf and the odd red wine.

Taylah Hiles (nee Watson) started working at Bentleys Newcastle in 2015 and is an Accountant who works in our business services team.
Taylah has completed her studies as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and, in her spare time, loves heading to the beach and spending time with her puppies!
Teigan
Administration Manager
Teigan started working at Bentleys Newcastle in 2015 and in 2019 took over the Administration Manager role.
Her main duties in the office include guiding the admin staff, supporting the accounting staff and assisting our lovely clients with their Corporate Secretarial needs.
On her weekends she spends her time with her Husband, friends and family.

Wage Audit Manager
With many years of experience in the field, Tracy is the Wage Audit Manager.
When not running kids around to sports, she loves to go to the beach, travel and read.

Zeeshan started at Bentleys Newcastle in 2024 and is already learning a lot from our staff and clients.
